Engaged Encounter
is a weekend "package" starting on a Friday night and finishing on
the Sunday afternoon. Of course there are breaks, meals, and some free time.
During the "working part", a team presents the above topics. They
will share from their real life experience. Then couples and the team work on
these topics - first individually and then the two of you together . There is
some time allocated for voluntary general discussion.
Engaged Encounter
is designed for couples intending marriage in the Catholic Church but has benefitted
couples of other faiths, or with no particular church experience. We do not
seek to convert.
As this is an experiential
weekend rather than a teaching seminar, couples who have lived together, have
been married before or who are not yet engaged but considering marriage will
benefit from the Engaged Encounter experience.
